Pricing and Applications
- Apply Derfen directly onto the skin or any affected areas, treatment should last ten days. Then apply Derfen each time your horse has signs of itching.
- During the day that follows the first application, the skin should become crusty and wounds get fat. This means the Derfen is working. Prior to additional application(s), delicately brush the excess crust off (do not rub too hard). Derfen will then penetrate more effectively.
- As soon as your horse starts rubbing, additional application(s) are needed
- Apply Derfen if there are any signs of itching; if your horse is very allergic to parasites; then applications will be made more frequently.

Most parasites and insects responsible for itching will be repelled by a regular use of Derfen. Even if your horse is sweating, Derfen will not be washed off ; indeed because of its texture,it will be absorbed by the skin.
No matter how effective Derfen may be, it will not eradicate SSRD. It will soothe the sores, relieve itching and must be used as soon as symptoms appear again or regulary as a skin care maintenance regimen. |
